NRI touchpad project
NRI's touchpad technology (HDTP) responds to not only the left-right/forward-back location, tapping, and simple gesture aspects of contemporary touch interfaces but additionally to the three angles (roll, pitch, yaw) at which the control surface is touched, advanced gestures, and resultant denser information flows from the user to a computer or machine. NRI has patents that are contemporaneous or predating the patents associated with now wildly-popular touch interfaces, permitting the technology and business attempting to use it to be freely competitive.
